  I was dreading staying here after reading the reviews, and seeing the armchair on the overhang over the main door, but this place is actually really nice!
  
  The lobby is clean and seems pretty new. I walked past the pool area which seemed clean also.
  
  The room was super clean, looked brand new and has a lot of mirrors. The lighted mirror in the bathroom is huge and so fancy looking! The beds were the nicest I’ve slept on in days, I finally got a good night of sleep here- first time I can say that about a hotel! Also I never heard anything as far as guests, only the light sound of traffic and it was hardly noticeable.
  
  The TV is large, has a great selection of channels and it was easy to turn on the captioning. Also they have a lot of outlets for charging your phone and such.
  
  The only “bad” thing I could say is I tried to open the fridge and it was stuck at first and I pinched my stupid finger in the hinge. It wasn’t dirty, I think when it was cleaned the seal on the fridge stuck to the cleaner honestly. Also the hallways smelled of fresh paint, and that’s not a bad thing either, smells like improvement!
  
  Also, I know some people mentioned an agricultural smell outside, I didn’t smell anything at all. Also the parking lot was clean, but it’s windy here so they had some sand/tree seed debris but there’s really nothing you can do to prevent that.
  
  They also have truck parking! I never eat breakfast at hotels but I smell it cooking right now and it smells really good actually!
  
  Overall, this is probably the nicest LaQuinta I’ve ever stayed at, and I’m a truck driver so that’s saying something because I’ve stayed at a lot of them. That being said, I don’t see how this place has so many bad reviews. Also, I love the horse statues in the parking lot!
